Volunteer & friend gifts
Donate to a child’s Trump Account
You do not have to be a parent or a billionaire. Anyone can put cash toward an open Trump Account — birthdays, baby showers, church groups, or “in lieu of toys.” Mega stock pledges (like Musk SpaceX shares) are a different legal path.

Three safe ways to give
1. Official contribute QR (best)
Ask the parent for the contribute link or QR from the Trump Accounts app. It should live on an allowed host such as contribute.trumpaccount.com or trumpaccounts.gov — not a random shorten.er.
2. Family gift page on this site
Parents create a shareable page at /give with Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. You tap to pay; they deposit into the official account. We never custody funds.

Birthday and shower hosts can attach the official contribution QR to an e-vite so every guest sees the same deposit path.

If you are the parent, start at For Families — claim the account, then publish a gift page so volunteers have one link to use. If someone asked you to “donate to Trump Accounts” without a specific child’s link, stop and verify.
What about Musk / SpaceX stock?
On October 19, 2026, Elon Musk said he would give one SpaceX share to every kid in America next year — described by the White House as running through Trump Accounts. That is a pledge for a huge class of children, not a button you can press as a volunteer. Individual stock gifts require an eligible donor, Treasury acceptance, and equal treatment for a class of at least 5,000 children under T.D. 10056.
Your cash gift still matters. It funds the index-fund sleeve under the annual cap and does not wait on a mega-donor’s paperwork.
